In questo modo ho voluto trasmettere il suo va-lore salvifico che, per me, non risiede tanto nel dolore fisico della croce, quanto nel suo essere un esempio straordinario di una vita vissuta nell’amore, nella coerenza e nella piena realiz-zazione del potenziale umano. The Embrace of Christ portrays a Jesus liberated from thorns, nails, and suffering; he floats serenely in the air, embracing the audience with closed eyes. In this way, I sought to convey his redemptive value. For me, this lies not in the physical agony of the crucifixion, but in his existence as a sublime example of a life rooted in love, integrity, and the ultimate fulfillment of hu-man potential.”
