José Molina was born in Madrid in July 1965.
At the age of 11 he started his artistic training and attended several art schools, where he studied drawing and painting for more than 10 years. At the age of 18 he started to work in advertising while pursuing his studies at the Universidad de Bellas Artes in Madrid.

He extended his professional experience in illustration, television, cartoons, graphic design and multimedia and then approached communication, working as a consultant for big multinational companies and in Italy, but he never gave up his passion for art.

At 35 he decided to devote himself entirely to painting. Over the first 5 years he shut himself up in his studio to develop his three collections on the Human Being: “Sentimientos”, “Morir para Vivir” y “Predatores”.

Meanwhile he studied Psycomotricity and Transitional Psychology for six year. He also studied History, from the dawn of first Mesopotamian cities to the events that marked the 20th century. He started to study Philosophy and took an interest in the religions of the world.

He travels as much as he can, trying to mingle with indigenous cultures in order to understand their world and art, to search for alternative ways of life and comprehension.

He practices several sports, loves the mountains and Nature.

José Molina nasce a Madrid nel luglio del 1965.
All’età di undici anni ha inizio la sua formazione in diverse scuole d’arte, dove, per più di dieci anni, studia disegno e pittura. A diciotto anni inizia a lavorare in pubblicità e nel frattempo completa i suoi studi all’Università di Belle Arti di Madrid. Estende poi la sua esperienza professionale ai campi dell’illustrazione, televisione, cartoni animati, grafica e al settore multimediale. Inizia a occuparsi di comunicazione in qualità consulente per grandi società multinazionali e in Italia, tutto ciò senza mai abbandonare la sua passione artistica.

A trentacinque anni decide di tornare alle sue radici e di dedicarsi totalmente alla pittura. Per cinque anni si chiude nel suo studio per sviluppare le sue tre collezioni sull’Uomo: “Sentimientos”, “Morir para Vivir” y “Predatores”.

Per sei anni studia Psicomotricità, Psicologia Transazionale e storia, dalle prime città della Mesopotamia sino agli eventi che hanno scandito il XX secolo. Comincia a studiare filosofia e s’interessa alle religioni del mondo. Viaggia più che può, indagando e inserendosi nelle culture indigene per comprendere il loro mondo e la loro arte, per cercare modelli alternativi di vita e di comprensione.

Pratica diversi sport, ama la montagna e la natura.

José Molina nace en Madrid en julio de 1965.
Con 11 años comienza su formación artística en diferentes escuelas de arte, estudiando técnicas de dibujo y pintura durante más de 10 años. A los 18 años inicia a trabajar en el campo de la publicidad al tiempo que completa sus estudios en la Universidad de Bellas Artes de Madrid. Trabaja en otros campos profesionales extendiendo su experiencia a la ilustración, la televisión, los dibujos animados, el diseño gráfico, y la multimedia. Acabará sus pasos en el mundo de la comunicación trabajando como consultor para grandes empresas internacionales ya en Italia, todo ello sin abandonar ni un minuto su pasión artística.

Decide ya con 35 años volver a sus raíces y dedicarse plenamente a la pintura. Durante cinco años se encierra en su estudio para desarrollar sus tres colecciones sobre el Hombre: “Sentimientos”, “Morir para Vivir” y “Predatores”.

En todo este tiempo estudia Psicomotricidad y Psicología Transaccional durante seis años. Estudia también Historia, desde los albores en las primeras ciudades de Mesopotamia hasta los últimos eventos que jalonan el siglo XX. Comienza a estudiar Filosofía, interesándose también en las diferentes religiones del mundo. Viaja todo lo posible, buceando e insertándose en las culturas indígenas para comprender su mundo y su arte, para buscar alternativas de vida y de comprensión.

Pratica diferentes deportes. Es un enamorado de la montaña y la Naturaleza.

Para José el Arte es búsqueda, es investigación, es atender a un compromiso social, es provocar una sonrisa, una lágrima sentida, una mirada hacia el interior...
